Suitable for sheds, fences, decking, cladding, and garden furniture, Barrettine Protective Treatment enhances the natural grain and colour of the wood while helping to prevent splitting and warping. Available in both Clear and a range of rich natural tones to suit every outdoor project.

Preparation & Application
- Ensure wood is clean, dry, and free from previous coatings, dirt, or mould.
- Stir well before and during use.
- Apply by brush, roller, or low-pressure spray in the direction of the grain.
- Allow 6–12 hours drying time between coats.
- Apply a minimum of two coats for full protection.
- Clean application tools with white spirit immediately after use.
- Not suitable for use on internal surfaces or wood in contact with food or animal feed.
Precautions
- Use only in well-ventilated areas or outdoors.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Harmful to aquatic life – do not contaminate ponds or watercourses.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Always test on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
