Preparation & Application:

• Ensure wood is clean, dry, and free from previous coatings or contaminants.
• Sand surface if needed and remove dust before applying.
• Apply with a lint-free cloth or natural bristle brush, following the grain.
• Leave to penetrate for 20–30 minutes, then wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth.
• Allow at least 24 hours between coats. Apply 3–5 coats for best protection, especially on porous wood.
• Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or in damp conditions.
• Coverage: approximately 10–14 square metres per litre depending on wood type and porosity.
• Clean tools with white spirit immediately after use.

Precautions:

• Always wear appropriate protective gloves and ensure good ventilation.
• Store in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed.
• Oily cloths may self-combust – dispose of safely in a sealed metal container or soak in water before disposal.
• Test on an off-cut or inconspicuous area to check compatibility and finish.
• Not recommended for use over previously sealed or varnished surfaces.
